Felix steht am Hang. Er hat nur eines im Kopf: Valerie – seine Frau, die ihn verlassen hat. Er kehrt zurück an den Ort des endgültigen Bruchs. Valeries Ex-Liebhaber Thomas ist auch hier, aber nicht aus Sentimentalität. Durch Zufall begegnen sich die beiden Männer in einem Restaurant. Als Felix klar wird, wen er vor sich hat, beginnt ein abgründiges Verwirrspiel.

Felix is on the edge. He has got just one thing on his mind: Valerie – his wife, who has recently left him. He returns to the place of their final break-up. Valerie’s ex-lover Thomas is also here, but not for sentimental reasons. By chance the two men meet in a restaurant. By chance Felix discovers who he is facing. And then starts the inscrutable game.

Die Verfilmung des erfolgreichen Romans durch Regisseur Markus Imboden ist vielschichtig und geheimnisvoll. Der für die Titelsequenz geplante Himmel als Hintergrund unterstützte die Idee, eine luftige, filigrane Schrift zu verwenden. Diese habe ich im Abspann wieder aufgenommen und in geeigneten Schriftschnitten den technischen Anforderungen eines Rolltitels angepasst.

The film adaptation of the successful novel, by the director Markus Imboden, is complex and mysterious. The planned sky sequence as background for the opening credits supported the idea of using a breezy, filigree font. This font I resumed for the end credits, and adapted the appropriate style (info: regular, bold etc) in order to suit the technical requirement of a rolling title.
