Sei es als Körperschmuck, politisches Statement oder gar in der Suppe, Haare sind selbst kahlgeschoren allgegenwärtig. Im raffinierten Mix von Real-, Archiv- und Trickaufnahmen erkundet der Animadok die behaarten Körperregionen und entdeckt im Alltag und in der Kunst das ungeheure Potential des feinsten Körperteils. In a playfully biographical manner, the director recounts her generation’s hairy stories. Whether as a body ornament, political statement or even in the soup, hair is omnipresent – even when shaven. With an ingenious fusion of real-life and archive footage as well as stop-motion technique, the anidoc discovers the tremendous potential of the body’s wispiest part in daily life and in art. A tingling feeling on the head is included.

Die Schrift habe ich zusammen mit Regisseurin Anka Schmid ausgewählt. Durch die Animation der Haare im Vorspann bot sich eine Interaktion zwischen Bild und Typografie an. Die Titel werden spielerisch aufgedeckt – ein kleiner Effekt mit grosser Wirkung.
I chose the typeface in collaboration with the director, Anka Schmid. The title involves hair that has been animated so that it playfully covers and uncovers the words. It’s a small detail with a big effect.
